Confrontation Inside A Delaware Pizza Store Leaves Owner Dead, Police Say

A stabbing at a Delaware pizza station left the owner dead, police said.
Around 6 p.m. on Nov. 13, Delaware State Police troopers responded to La Piazza Di Caruso in Newark, Delaware, for a reported assault. When troopers arrived, they found a 41-year-old dead.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Troopers found the victim inside the pizza restaurant with stab wounds.
A suspect entered the store and confronted the victim who was the owner, according to State Police. The suspect then stabbed the victim several times and left the area. There was no word what the dispute was over.
The suspect was found at the hospital after getting treatment for an injury sustained in the attack.
Authorities identified Erik Hilton as the suspect, and he was charged with first-degree murder and other counts.
