Two suspects arrested after Delaware woman found dead in cornfield:

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection to a case where a dead body was found in a Delaware cornfield.
Around 9 a.m. Aug. 21, the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit responded to the 2000 block of Dyke Branch Road in Dover for reports of a deceased person in a field.
The victim, identified as Anna Hurst, 30, was found in a cornfield with apparent gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to state police.
Hurst was pronounced dead at the scene.
Delaware State Police identified Ronald D. Suber Jr., 29, and Tori L. Balfour, 30, as suspects in the incident.
On Aug. 28, 2021, Suber and Balfour were arrested in New Castle County, Delaware. Police have not said how the two were identified as suspects.
Investigators have also not released a possible motive for the killing.
Suber was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, according to police.
Suber was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $2.5 million bond.
Balfour was charged with second-degree conspiracy and was committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $2,000 bond.
