Man Shot Dead On Thanksgiving Day, Teen Arrested On Murder Charge Weeks Later, Police Say

A man was shot dead outside a Delaware home on Thanksgiving, and now police said the man responsible is behind bars.
Around 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 24, police in Dover, Delaware, responded to a reported shooting at a home.
Police arrived and found 29-year-old Walter Pereira with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.

Officers arrested Rayvaughn Jones, 29, at the scene, police said. He was charged with a host of drug and conspiracy charges. Officers found guns, 2,100 grams of marijuana and 1,000 oxycodone pills and other drugs in the home.
Investigators said Jones lived at the home with the victim. But they did not say what led to the shooting.
On Dec. 7, police arrested Tyre Blue, 17, on murder and other charges in connection to the shooting.
