Woman Turned Shotgun On Boyfriend During Heating Argument, Authorities Say
A woman is accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend during an argument and now faces a murder charge.
On June 28, the Wayne County Prosecutor in Michigan announced charges against Antoinette Denise Moore, 51. She was charged in connection to the shooting death of Willie Grant Jr., 47.
Around 8 p.m. on June 24, Detroit police responded to a home for a reported shooting, according to prosecutors. When officers arrived, they found Grant lying face down on the lawn with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An argument between Grant and Moore escalated and Moore fired a shotgun, according to prosecutors.
She was arrested later the same day and charged with premeditated first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and felony firearm.
