Man was kicked out of family home in Detroit, then returned hours later to shoot sister in head, police said
The man who shot and killed his sister after being kicked out of the family’s home has been arrested, according to reports.
Last week, Detroit police announced that Nashwan Ali, 36, was arrested in connection to the March 8 shooting of his sister. He was arrested in Tennessee, hundreds of miles from the alleged crime scene.
Police say they are working to get him back to Michigan to face charges.
Fox 2 reported that Ali shot his sister in the head of their family home and fled before police arrived. Authorities said Ali had been kicked out of the home earlier in the day. He returned hours later and shot his sister.
The victim’s name has not been released.
