Indiana Man Who Went By Alias ‘Blu’ Was Listed In Drug-Deal Notebook Log Found At Shooting: Police

An Indiana man recently released from prison is now accused of shooting a victim multiple times at an apartment complex last January.
On Feb. 23, William Cross, 28, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and battery in connection with a shooting in Evansville on Jan. 7, WFIE reported.
Investigators learned the suspected shooter was known by the alias “Blu,” and, according to police records, Cross allegedly used the nickname.
A notebook recovered from the scene of the shooting and believed to be a drug-deal log contained the alias, “Blu,” police said.
Police said a witness identified Cross in a lineup as the suspected shooter, WEVV reported.
He was being held at the Vanderburgh County jail on a $250,000 bond.
