Georgia Woman, 45, Accused Of Killing Her 82-Year-Old Fiancé, Living With Body For Months
A Georgia woman is accused of murdering her fiancé and then living in their house with his remains for months, authorities said.
Police in Hall County arrested Tabitha Zeldia Wood, 45, of Gainesville, on June 9 in connection with the death of 82-year-old Leroy Franklin Kramer Jr., according to WSB-TV.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to Kramer’s home for a wellbeing check on June 7 after his daughter reported she hadn’t had any contact with him for months and they found the elderly man dead.

Wood allegedly told deputies she had been living in the house with Kramer’s corpse since he died in early April.
An autopsy determined Kramer’s death was the result of homicide caused by blunt force and sharp force trauma, the sheriff’s office said, WSB-TV reported.
Authorities took Wood into custody two days later and charged her with felony murder, aggravated assault, and concealing a death.
