Rhode Island Suspect Accused Of Killing 84-Year-Old Man Ordered Held Without Bail
A Rhode Island man suspected of killing an elderly man faced a judge in connection with the case.
On March 13, Matthew Dufresne, 34, appeared in Providence District Court and was arraigned on a first-degree domestic murder charge and ordered held without bail, WPRI reported.
According to the station, Dufresne was arrested after officers responded to the Pawtucket home of the 84-year-old man for a wellbeing check and found the victim dead.
The suspect reportedly lived at the home with the elderly man, who police have not publicly identified.
Dufresne is due back in court on March 21.
