An elementary school custodian in Alabama is behind bars after investigators allegedly found multiple images of minors on his cell phone and other digital devices, according to authorities.
Matthew Adams Hammock, 33, faces 41 counts of possession of child pornography after Lee County investigators and the Alabama State Bureau of Investigations served multiple search warrants in connection with suspected exploitation of children under the age of 18, WTVM reported.
During the searches, law enforcement officials identified Hammock as a suspect and found he worked at Beauregard Elementary School.
Investigators arrested Hammock at the school and searched his phone, which allegedly contained multiple images of child pornography that had been downloaded, officials said.
