California Man, 74, Accused Of Fatally Shooting Woman In Her Car On Expressway
A California man is behind bars after he was identified as the primary suspect in the murder of a woman in a car found on an expressway, authorities said.
On Oct. 1, police arrested Sital Singh Dosanjh, 74, at his home in Fresno without incident in connection with the fatal shooting of the woman in San Jose around 6 p.m. the prior day, KPIX-TV reported.
According to the station, officers responding to a report of a person down found the victim, whose identity wasn’t released pending family notification, inside her vehicle on the Almaden Expressway. She was suffering at least one gunshot wound.
Singh was expected to be extradited from Fresno to San Jose to face charges.
Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the deadly shooting.
