He Allegedly Shot Up A Fast-Food Restaurant After a Drive-Thru Argument. Now, He Faces A Murder Charge.
A late-night fast-food run turned into a deadly argument, and now a suspect faces a murder charge, officials said.
Last week, a grand jury in Shelby County, Tennessee, indicted Quandaryus House in connection to the incident from earlier this year. He now faces a murder charge and is being held in jail on $250,000 bond.
Police in the Memphis area responded to a Dixie Queen around 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 15, when House and a woman went to the eatery, according to the Shelby County District Attorney.
They placed a drive-thru and moved to the window when they tried to make a gang. They started to argue with store employee 18-year-old Maresha Williams, according to prosecutors.
The duo got their food and left but later returned. House was in the passenger seat and started to shoot in to the store.
The teen was shot in the abdomen and taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. House was arrested about a week after the incident.
