Father and son in Louisiana arrested after they’re accused of separate sexual abuse charges involving minors, sheriff says
A father and son in Louisiana were arrested and accused of separate sexual abuse charges involving juveniles, authorities said.
On March 11, detectives took into custody Lester D. Cheveallier, 64, and accused him of using a social media account to solicit a juvenile victim, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
He was charged with one count each of obscenity, indecent behavior with juveniles, and computer aided solicitation of a minor.
Investigators executing a search warrant on Cheveallier’s home then allegedly discovered thirty pornographic sexual abuse images of children under the age of 13 on a computer owned by the suspect’s 41-year-old son, Clayton D. Hinton, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities arrested Hinton, who lives with his father, and he was charged with 30 counts of pornography involving juveniles, according to the sheriff’s office.
The father and son were both booked into the Bossier Maximum-Security Facility, where Cheveallier was being held on an $85,000 bond, whereas Hinton’s bond was set at $150,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding this crime or other against children is asked to contact the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-2203.
