Maryland Father And Stepmother Charged In Connection To 5-Year-Old's Death

A father and stepmother in Maryland who police say beat a 5-year-old girl to death were arrested, according to Prince George's Daily Voice.
Pradel Delinois, 44, and Ornelie Charles, 42, are accused of beating the girl, Pradeline Delinois, who died from blunt force trauma on Aug. 18 in the 5100 block of Cumberland Street, according to Prince George's County Police.
The Daily Voice reported that police went to the residence because of reports of an unresponsive child. The child was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.
According to the Daily Voice, an autopsy showed she died from blunt force trauma while in the custody of Delinois and Charles. Delinois is charged with child abuse resulting in the death and neglect of a minor, while Charles is charged with child abuse resulting in the death, assault, and neglect of a minor.
