Oklahoma Woman Murdered Motel Resident With Fentanyl, Then Ran Away: Police
An Oklahoma City woman is charged with murdering a man at a motel by providing a lethal dose of fentanyl, according to authorities.
Ashley Drake Morgan, 28, was arrested Friday afternoon. A police statement says she ran from the west side motel to a nearby gas station.
Authorities found Stephen Muller, 43, dead from what they called “an apparent drug overdose.” Morgan reportedly was at the motel and provided the fentanyl.
KFOR-TV reported when Muller's brother visited his room to check on his brother, a woman told him to call an ambulance. Then she left, and the brother found Muller's body.
The police statement said Morgan “made no attempt to render aid to Muller.”
Muller had been living in addiction treatment homes, officials said.

Narcotic officers were able to track down the woman and determined she was the person who gave the drugs to Muller, KFOR-TV reported.
Morgan was held Tuesday without bond on first-degree murder charges.
