California Man Accused Of Murdering 36-Week Pregnant Sister, Lighting Her Body On Fire

A California man allegedly murdered his pregnant sister and then set her body on fire, authorities said.

Police in Fresno said they recently took Aaron Jamal Dudley, 41,into custody and charged him in connection with the stabbing death of 26-year-old N-Kya Rebecca Logan, Fox News reported.

Several witnesses saw Logan’s body on fire, according to police, who believe the victim was stabbed multiple times in the home they shared, Fox News reported.

According to the station, Dudley allegedly dumped his younger sibling’s body in a garbage bin located in an alleyway near their home and lit her on fire.

One eyewitness reportedly took a photo of a man, later identified as Dudley, standing by the body that was ablaze. Surveillance video also allegedly shows the suspect with the garbage can.

The victim, who was 36 weeks pregnant, had just celebrated a baby shower on Dec. 11 for her son she planned to call Noah.

Dudley was being held at the Fresno County jail on two counts of murder in connection with Logan and her unborn child’s deaths, according to the L.A. Times.

Fox News reported Dudley was placed on a 72-hour hold in 2021 after police determined he was a threat to himself or another individual.
