Man Allegedly Called 911 To Say He Hurt A Woman In An Argument. When Police Arrived, They Found Her Murdered.

A man called 911 to say he hurt a woman during an argument. Now, he faces a murder charge, police said.
On Sept. 16, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in Florida responded to a domestic incident.
Police said 22-year-old Nicholas M. Fontanez called 911 to say he hurt a woman in an argument. Police arrived at the home and found the 20-year-old victim dead.
Investigators have not said what the argument was about.
Fontanez was initially charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, according to the sheriff’s office.
On Sept. 20, that charge was upgraded to second-degree murder.
