Florida Woman Helped Falsify 150 IDs To Help Immigrants Get Work, Faces Host Of Criminal Charges
A woman has been arrested in Florida after police said she helped falsify 175 fake IDs and driver’s licenses.
According to a report, the suspect was mainly helping Afghan immigrants cheat on their licensees so they could live and work in the Sunshine State.
Recently, the Florida State Highway Patrol announced the arrest of Afsaneh Baghai-Amri on 175 counts of unlawful acts related to the alleged ID scam.
“She personally assisted in providing fraudulent DL/ID’s by using false addresses and certifications examines,” officials posted on social media.

The majority of fake ID’s used her home address instead of the person’s actual address, according to CBS47/FOX30. More than 130 fake IDs had the wrong address, according to the report.
She mainly helped Afghan immigrants so they would have documentation to live and work in Florida, according to CBS47/FOX30.
Baghai-Amri also worked as Duval County Tax Collector’s customer’s interpreter, according to the report.
