Man threatened to cut the 'gay' out of his brother while holding a large knife, police say
A man said he wanted to cut the “gay” out of his brother and now faces charges, police said.
Recently, Miami-Dade police arrested David Martinez, 35, in connection to the incident.
The victim told police that his brother had acted strangely. Then one night, Martinez threatened the victim with a large knife and said he was going to cut the “gay” out of him, according to WPLG.
Martinez told his brother he was going to kill him, the report stated. The victim left, but Martinez told him to go back into the house.
The brother escaped, went to a friend’s house and called police, according to WPLG.
When officers spoke to Martinez, he was uncooperative and eventually taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, false imprisonment and resisting an officer without violence.
