Florida Bartender Arrested After Allegedly Punching Customer Over Bucket Of Beer, Police Say
A bartender in Florida found himself behind bars after he allegedly punched a customer over a mix-up involving a bucket of beers, authorities said.
On May 1, Bibiano Lopez-Sanchez, 37, was working the bar at El Cubano in Collier County.
During the shift, Lopez-Sanchez refused to acknowledge a patron’s order and the person reached for a bucket of beer they believed belong to them, NBC 2 reported, citing a Collier County Sheriff’s Office report.
Lopez-Sanchez allegedly responded by punching the patron, the report states.
The victim suffered a cut under their eye and was bleeding following the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
The report states Lopez-Sanchez had discolored knuckles that could be consistent with a punch, and he was booked into the Immokalee Jail Center on a battery charge.
