A woman claimed she distributed child pornography because she was a “people pleaser,” according to a report.
Last week, police in Gainesville, Florida, announced the arrest of Quincie Grube.
Police were investigating a case after a Facebook user shared a video of child porn through the messaging platform. The video was shared from a home where Grube previously lived.
Investigators spoke to Grube and she said the Facebook account belonged to her, according to police.
She said she got the video and later shared it, police noted. The video showed a child being raped. Grube denied being sexually attracted to the video and denied viewing other child porn, according to police.
She said she was a “people pleaser,” and when her friend requested a child sexual abuse video, she wanted to find one and send it, according to police.
Grube was arrested and charged with solicitation of child exploitation material and distribution of child exploitation material.
