Two teenagers have been charged with murder after they allegedly killed a couple in a drug deal gone wrong, reports said.
Nathan Douglas Brown, 18, and an unnamed 15-year-old have been charged with two counts of murder and one count of robbery each, according to WKRG.
The 15-year-old has not been named because of his age.
At around 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 9, Escambia County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a reported shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman shot dead inside a car, according to WKRG. The victims were 25-year-old David Purchase and 26-year old Natalie Greenough, family told WEAR. The two were engaged to be married.
“Imagine having a really, really bad day and being very cold and hungry — and all of a sudden this ray of sunshine comes out. That’s them," David's mother, Julie Purchase, said to the news channel.
POlice said the two were shot dead in a drug deal gone wrong, according to WEAR.
