Home Health Aide Stole From 93-Year-Old To Buy Alcohol, Groceries: Police

A home health aide is accused of stealing money from a 93-year-old woman, according to police.
Last week, police in Naples, Florida, announced the arrest of Tina Marie Kessel.
On Jan. 10, the 93-year-old victim reported to police she had 16 fraudulent charges on her bank account, according to police.
The charges were made over several weeks and totaled $805, police noted. The money was used to buy groceries and alcohol through Instacart.
Detectives determined the purchases were made by a health aide, Kessel, hired to provide in-home care for the victim, according to police.
Police arrested Kessel and charged her with various crimes, including grand theft from a person 65 years old or older.
