Man confessed to killing his travel partner in a Florida hotel room, cops say

A man has been arrested after he allegedly killed a travel buddy in a Florida hotel room, police said.
Brian Blair, 26, allegedly confessed to stabbing the victim to death, and he was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. Aug. 29, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
On Aug. 26, Blair and the victim traveled together from Virginia to Florida.
The victim rented a room at the Red Carpet Inn located at 2460 W. State Road 84 in Dania Beach, according to the sheriff's office.
Around 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29, Broward Sheriff's Office detectives responded to the scene and found the victim deceased and the room disheveled, showing signs of a struggle.
Blair was later identified, located and arrested. Deputies have not said what led to the alleged assault.
He now faces one count of premeditated murder and is currently being held in a Broward County jail without bond.
