A Florida man has been arrested after he allegedly hit his girlfriend twice in the face with a steak during an argument, which left the victim with “seasoning on her cheek,” according to authorities.
Around 9 p.m. on May 21, police were called to a residence in Pinellas Park where Joshua Dummar, 32, and the 29-year-old woman were arguing when the alleged attack occurred, according to The Smoking Gun.
At one point during the argument, the woman locked Dummar out of the home, but then she later let him back into the residence, officials said.
The woman was allegedly lying on the couch when Dummar “picked up a steak and smacked the victim two times on the left cheek,” which apparently left “seasoning from the steak on the victim’s cheek,” the arrest affidavit states.
Police said the incident was “captured on a ring camera” inside the home, which the victim has owned since 2016, The Smoking Gun reported.
Dummar was arrested and booked into Pinellas County Jail, officials said.
