A 24-year-old Florida man shot two coworkers at a warehouse last month and now has been charged with murder after a victim died.
According to authorities, Carlos Diaz Mieses, 24, shot Eris Peguero, 31, and Jose Oca Martinez during an argument on May 14.
Police said Diaz Mieses shot both men around 10 a.m. and then took off.
Officials said he was found and arrested the next day in Palm Beach County, Florida.
At the time of the shooting, The Sun Sentinel reported that Peguero and Martinez were hospitalized in critical condition.
Following the recent death of Peguero, Diaz Mieses now faces a charge of first-degree premeditated murder, police said.
Diaz Mieses also faces an attempted murder charge in the shooting of Martinez, authorities said.
Diaz Mieses pleaded not guilty to his initial charges on May 26 and is being held without bond at the Broward County jail, officials said.
Diaz Mieses is scheduled for his next hearing on June 16.
