A man claiming to be a masseuse is accused of sexually assaulting a client and police say they are looking for more victims.
On March 29, a woman claiming to have back pain contacted Jose Garcia, 68, about getting a massage, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. The victim drove to his home, and he sexually battered the client during the massage, police said.
Garcia, who only speaks Spanish, admitted to the crime during an interview, according to the sheriff’s office.
He now faces four counts of sexual battery, and investigators said there could be more charges.
Detectives found no evidence that Garcia is a licensed masseuse and he claimed to receive his training in Mexico, according to the sheriff’s office.

"This is a man, who took advantage of people who came to him seeking help for their ailments," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Our fear now, is that there are more victims out there who may not speak English or know they can come forward to report these crimes. Thanks to our diverse group of talented, caring, and bilingual deputies, we are here to help them seek the justice they deserve."
