Mom poisoned her 4-year-old daughter with Tylenol, Benadryl in botched murder-suicide: cops
A mom in Florida is accused of poisoning her 4-year-old daughter with Benadryl and Tylenol in a botched murder-suicide.
On March 9, Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez announced the arrest of Jacinda Decaro in connection to the murder of her daughter, Masiela. The announcement was made during a press conference that was streamed on social media.
On Jan. 10, deputies responded to a resort for an attempted suicide, Lopez said. Deputies went into the room and found Jacinda and Masiela. Jacinda was taken to the hospital, and the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The room was locked from the inside, Lopez said.
According to Fox 35 Orlando, deputies also found a suicide note that read “I’m sorry.”
Deputies found Tylenol and Benadryl in the room, the sheriff noted. He said a medical examiner determined the child died from poisoning.
