Florida murder suspect admitted to police he killed a man and disposed of his body: report

Police discovered the dead body of a man on Nov. 14 and police say the suspect confessed to the killing.
On Nov. 14, Columbia County, Florida, sheriff's deputies found the body of a 30-year-old man on a road, according to CBS 4. Police have not revealed the identity of the victim.
The Sheriff’s Office said the suspect, identified as Javont’e Wilkins, 29, reported the incident to law enforcement in another county, CBS 4 reported.
Wilkins reported to law enforcement in Hamilton County, Florida, and said he killed someone and disposed of their body, according to CBS 4.
Wilkins relayed this information in person, CBS 4 reported.
Jail records obtained by CBS 4 show Wilkins is currently being held without bond at the Hamilton County jail on a weapons charge, according to CBS 4.
Investigators have not said how the suspect and victim knew each other. They also did not release a possible motive for the killing.
