Around 4 a.m. on Oct. 24, police in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, responded to a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found an SUV running, but nobody was inside, according to police. A short distance away, they found Tykeis Noland with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died, police said.
No suspects were identified in the shooting’s immediate aftermath, but police were able to find three people of interest after months of investigation.
This week officer arrested Ty’auvion Morris, 19, Corderrius Grant, 20 and Nathaniel Riggs, 18, in connection to the case. Morris and Grant were charged with premeditated murder and Riggs was charged with being an accessory to premeditated murder.
