Florida Woman Used Her Rented Home As A Brothel, Police Say

A woman in Florida is accused of using her home as a brothel, according to a report.
This week, police in Miami Gardens, Florida, arrested Leidy Nayibe Cabrera-Gomez in connection to the case, according to WPLG.
An investigation started when a police detective called a cellphone listed on an adult website known to advertise prostitution, according to WPLG.
The detective was told to go to a home in the Miami Gardens area, the report noted. He was met by Cabrera-Gomez, who took him to a bedroom where another woman was waiting.

The three agreed to a fee of $200 for sex, according to WPLG. Officers then raided the home, but Cabrera-Gomez yelled for the other woman to close the door as police tried to get inside.
The woman locked the door, eventually officers got inside and arrested Cabrera-Gomez.
They also found items inside the home to help in her alleged prostitution efforts, according to WPLG.
She was charged with deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution, maintaining a house of prostitution and other counts.
