Man Shot And Killed Victim, Then Buried Remains In His Backyard, Cops Say

A man shot a victim to death and then buried him in the backyard of his home, police said.
This week, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida announced the arrest of Simon Hand, 23, in connection to the case.
This week, deputies learned that a victim of a homicide was last seen with Hand, according to the sheriff’s office.

Police went to his home in North Lauderdale, Florida, and found the victim buried in the backyard.
Investigators said they believed Hand shot the victim to death before burying him in the backyard. A motive for the alleged killing has not been released.
The victim has not been named.
Hand was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon.
