Stabbing leaves one person dead in Florida, suspect arrested
A Florida man faces criminal charges in connection to a fatal stabbing, police said.
Around 9:30 p.m. on March 27, police in Port Orange, Florida, responded to a reported stabbing on Leslie Drive.
Two men were involved in a fight and one of the suspects suffered stab wounds, according to Port Orange police. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as Kenneth Pitti.
Investigators arrested Donald Perryman at the scene and he was charged with second-degree murder. Authorities have not released what led to the altercation.
