Elementary school teacher traveled to have sex with a 2-year-old toddler, police say
An elementary school teacher traveled to meet a 2-year-old for sex, according to police.
The teacher, Xavier Donte Alexander, 27, is a 4th grade educator at Grove Park Elementary in the Palm Beach, Florida, area.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office stated Alexander was arrested on a charge of solicitation of a minor and traveling to meet a minor. The victim was 2-years-old in the case, according to the sheriff’s office.
The agency did not release when he traveled to meet the victim.

Alexander is also a babysitter listed on Care.com and other nanny websites, according to the sheriff’s office.
There may be other victims in the case, police say. Anyone who believes their child could have been victimized is asked to contact police at (561) 688-4079 or CrimeStoppers at (800) 458-TIPS.
Alexander is being held in Palm Beach County jail and bond has not been set in his case.
If convicted, Alexander faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
