Florida Father Allegedly Kidnapped Son After Committing Triple Homicide, Police Say
A Florida man is in custody in connection to the triple homicide of three adults and the kidnapping of his young son, authorities said.
On April 29, officers conducting a wellbeing check at a Jacksonville apartment and discovered three deceased victims, who ranged in age from 25 to 30 years old, and an 8-year-old boy missing.
According to witnesses, First Coast News reported, the victims include the child’s mother as well as her two cousins.
Police identified Terrell Lewis, 37, as a suspect in the triple homicide and issued an AMBER Alert for the child, who they believed was possibly with him, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Authorities tracked down Lewis the evening of the deadly incident and took him into custody before charging him with three counts of murder.
The child was with Lewis at the time and was unharmed, police said.
A judge denied Lewis bond, and the suspect is scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
The investigation into the murders is ongoing.
Citing court documents, First Coast News reported Lewis has a history of domestic violence-related charges, including for allegedly punching a woman in the face in 2016.
