A Florida woman has been accused of killing her mother and cutting her heart out.
On March 6, Tallahassee police said 58-year-old Earleen Tucker was wandering around nude, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WCTV.
Police said officers attempted to get Tucker back into her home to get some clothes on, but she resisted.
According to authorities, Tucker admitted to officers on the scene that she had committed a “grievous” crime.
Tucker eventually let officers into the townhome she shared with her mother, where they found an “apparent organ” in the hallway.
Officers located Tucker’s mother lying face-up on a bed.
Authorities said there was a large wound in the center of the victim's chest.
Detectives later determined the “organ” in the front hallway was the victim's heart.
Tucker told police that she needed “to end it” and that the “saga” would continue until she was behind bars, the affidavit claims.
Officers said Tucker “mostly rambled” when they were speaking with her and she allegedly eventually said she killed her mother.

According to WCTV, Tucker was hospitalized more than 30 years ago for mental health issues and again hospitalized in 2009 for similar issues.
Tucker was arrested and charged with murder, officials said.
She recently made her first court appearance in connection with the homicide case and pleaded not guilty. The court ordered an expert to evaluate her competency to stand trial.
