A woman in Florida who referred to a man as her "sugar daddy" is accused of shooting into the car of the man's full-time girlfriend, all while the girlfriend's 1-year-old child was seated inside, according to authorities.
Around 9 p.m. on Nov. 4, officers responded to an apartment complex in South Daytona after calls came in regarding a possible shooting, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WKMG.
Police talked with the victim, who said she saw a Silver Acura driving past her home over the last few days.
The woman reportedly went out to pick up dinner from Wendy’s and when she returned, she saw the Acura parked in front of the complex, so she decided to park behind it to figure out who owned it, the affidavit said.
A little while later, the victim’s boyfriend and father of her 1-year-old child came out of an apartment with a woman, later identified as 20-year-old Zehra Percy, court documents stated.
The victim got out of her car, but then she allegedly heard someone shout, “She has a gun,” which prompted her to run back to her vehicle, officials said.
Police said Percy reportedly opened the Acura’s trunk, pulled out a gun and started shooting at the victim and her vehicle, where the victim’s 1-year-old child was strapped in.
Investigators talked with witnesses, who confirmed the same story — they saw two women get into an argument, one of the women then went to her car and pulled out a firearm and fired two rounds at the other woman, according to the affidavit.

Detectives determined that Percy was the “mistress” of the victim’s boyfriend.
On Nov. 10, Percy was pulled over during a traffic stop and taken into custody, police said.

During the stop, officers reportedly asked to search the vehicle for the firearm, but she told police she already returned it to her “sugar daddy,” officials said.
Percy was charged with shooting into a vehicle and was released on a $5,000 bond, authorities said.
