An employee at a Florida sunglasses store is accused of recording to a woman as she used the bathroom, according to authorities.
On June 8, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in Florida announced the arrest of Ernest Moschino, 47. He worked at the Sunglass World shop, police said.
Moschino told a woman she could use a restroom, even though it was not open to the public, according to the sheriff’s office.
The woman said she found the phone and saw it was recording her as she used the toilet, according to the sheriff’s office.
The woman sent the video to her own phone and then deleted it from Moschino’s device, according to deputies. She then left without confronting the suspect and contacted the police.
Investigators said the video showed Moschino starting the recording and using a plastic bag to conceal the phone.
When confronted with the allegations, Moschino said, “I’m sorry,” and asked to speak to the victim, according to the sheriff’s office.
He now faces charges of video voyeurism.
