The Los Angeles Police Department said detectives are searching for additional victims after actor Gabriel Olds was arrested and charged with seven counts of felony sexual assault.

Olds, 52, recently starred in the film The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and has appeared in numerous TV series including NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law and Order, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and Criminal Minds.

According to police, on Jan. 19, 2023, a 41-year-old woman reported that Olds sexually assaulted her at her Los Angeles home.

Two additional victims later came forward with similar stories dating back to 2013. Each of the women described consensual dates that "descended into violent sexual assault," police said.

Olds allegedly used his status as a Hollywood actor and graduate of Yale University to arrange dates, using dating apps "in recent years," police said.

Victims reported that Olds "lured them into a false sense of security during their initial encounters, then turned violent without seeking their consent," police said.

“We heard the same story again and again,” Detective Brent Hopkins, a Special Assault Section supervisor, said in a statement. “Mr. Olds started off charming, but then used brutal violence to carry out these rapes. Some of these survivors suffered in silence for years before finding the strength to speak up. Now that he’s off the streets, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to be heard.”

Detectives are now seeking additional victims.
