Man Shot Dead At A Georgia ATM. Suspect Arrested Months Later, And Police Say They Are Looking For Others Involved
A man was shot to death near an ATM in Georgia. Now, months later, police say they arrested a suspect.
Authorities say they are still looking for others involved in the case.
Around 6:40 p.m. on Nov. 26, police in East Point, Georgia, responded to a Wells Fargo ATM for a report of a man who was shot. The victim had been shot by one of several people inside a silver vehicle that fled the area.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died, according to East Point police.
Months later, police have still not confirmed the victim’s identity.
But authorities announced on April 14 they arrested Shane Knight in connection to the case. He was charged with murder. Police say they continue to search for other suspects and anyone with information is asked to call (404) 559-6300.
Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting.
