Owner Of Georgia Beauty Store Gunned Down In Robbery, Suspect Arrested The Next Day
A man killed the owner of a Georgia beauty shop during a robbery, and now police say they have the suspect in custody.
On Nov. 15, police in East Point, Georgia, were sent to the Beauty World on Washington Road for a report of a shooting. There, they found a woman shot.
The victim was identified as 69-year-old Hyun Chan Cha, according to Fox 5.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died hours later, police noted.
It appeared the shop owner was shot during a robbery, police said. They released photos of the suspect and on Nov. 16 said they arrested the man.
Authorities said they charged Nathan Huff with murder and other counts. Police also said they are looking to speak to anyone who knows another person of interest who wore an orange coat at the scene. Anyone with information can contact police at (404) 761-2177.
