EMT And National Guard Member Accused Of Abusing 2-year-old, Victim's Mom Also Charged
An EMT and member of the Georgia National Guard is accused of abusing a toddler, police said.
On March 22, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia received a report of child abuse. The 2-year-old victim was living in Douglas County.
Investigators determined the victim suffered abuse at the hands of Christian Anthony Stern and the child’s mother, Logan Steele, according to the sheriff’s office. Police did not detail the nature of the injuries.

The duo was charged with more than 20 counts of abuse to a child, investigators said.
Stern works for an EMT service in Georgia and an active member of the Georgia National Guard, according to the sheriff’s office. He has also worked at several metro-Atlanta ambulance services.
