Argument inside a Georgia convenience store turns deadly, 60-year-old man accused of murder
An argument inside a Georgia convenience store turned deadly and now a man faces a murder charge, police said.
Around 10 p.m. on March 4, police in Clarkston, Georgia, responded to a Stop and Save Food Mart after a 911 call for a person shot.
Officers arrived at the scene and found an unconscious man inside the store with a gunshot wound, according to Clarkston police. Officers tried to give care, but when medics arrived, the victim was pronounced dead.
Clarkston Police said the unidentified victim and the Mohamadzahirbin Mohamadfazal were inside the store and got into an argument. Mohamadfazal then shot the victim and fled the area.
Mohamadfazal was involved in a vehicle wreck a short time late, and his vehicle matched the one from the store.
Officers arrested Mohamadfazal and he was charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
