Man killed after fight at a home in Georgia, suspect accused of murder
A fight in Georgia last week left one man dead and another person facing a murder charge, police said.
On Feb. 18, Glynn County police responded to a home in Brunswick, Georgia, for a medical call.
When first responders arrived, they found a man with serious injuries after a fight, according to Glynn County police. The victim was later identified as Ignacio Fernandez, 48.
Fernandez later died as a result of his injuries, according to police.
The other person involved in the fight fled the area before police arrived. Investigators identified the suspect as Juan Hernandez-Rodriguez, 34. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
But the charge was upgraded to felony murder after the victim died.
Investigators have not said what led to the fight between the two men.
