A 68-year-old man’s body was found inside a burning home, but police said the victim was shot before the fire.
Now, authorities have arrested his grandson in connection to the case.
On Feb. 14, the body of 68-year-old Andrew Donaldson was found inside his burning home in Oakwood, Georgia, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
An autopsy was completed on Donaldson and officials said they determined Donaldson had been shot.
Investigators believe the fire was started in order to destroy any evidence of the shooting, authorities said.
