Two adults face charges after police found children living in “unsanitary conditions,” according to a report.
Last week, police in Gwinnett, Georgia, announced the arrest of Omi Smith, 24, and Dorien Green, 27, in the case. They both face three counts of second-degree cruelty to children.
Police responded to a home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and saw the conditions.
The living situation included floors, walls and furniture covered with trash and food, urine and feces, according to police. Three children — aged 8, 4 and 3 — lived in the home.
Smith and Green were arrested at the scene.
The children were taken into custody by child services.
