Two Security Guards At A Lounge Tried To Break Up A Fight, When One Was Shot Dead, Police Said

Weeks after a security guard was killed, and another was injured, a suspect has been arrested in connection to the case, according to reports.
On Oct. 25, Erik McKenzie was shot and killed at the Cosmopolitan Premier Lounges in Decatur, Georgia, according to WSB-TV. Another security guard was also wounded in the shooting.
Police said there was a dispute inside the club, and everyone was told to leave. A suspect fired shots and hit the security guards.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m.
This week, police arrested Quincy Tyler Walker, 26, in connection to the case. He was charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault, according to WSB-TV.
Investigators say the security guards were trying to break up a fight between Walker and another person.
