A Georgia Man Called Police to Report His Wife's Suicide. Now, He's Been Charged with Her Murder, Police Say.

A Georgia man allegedly called police to report that his wife had committed suicide. Now, officials say he has been charged in connection with her death.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on Nov. 24, officers responded to a call from 55-year-old Brian McManus, who claimed that his wife, 63-year-old Lucille Ann McManus, died by suicide, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
Officers responded to the couple's Warner Robins home, where they found the victim with “an apparent injury to her head,” officials said.
Lucille Ann was pronounced dead at the scene.

The following day, police updated the investigation from a possible suicide to homicide, authorities said.
Police have now announced that Brian McManus had been arrested and charged with malice murder.
Officials declined to release further details about the events that led up to the shooting.
