63-year-old Found Dead With 'Numerous Lacerations,' Man Half Her Age Accused Of Murder
A 63-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a Georgia home and now a 33-year-old man faces a murder charge, police said.
Around 11:30 p.m. on April 4, deputies from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Florida responded to a home to check on a residence.
When deputies arrived, they found the body of Angela Shields, according to the sheriff’s office. She had suffered “numerous lacerations” in an attack. Her remains have been sent for an autopsy.
Hours later, police arrested Marcus Alfredo Flores, 33, in connection to the case. But investigators did not say why they suspected him.
They also did not release a possible motive in the case.
Flores was charged with felony malice murder. Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate the killing.
