Officers in Georgia Respond to Home for Domestic Call, Return Hours Later to Find Couple Stabbed by Son: Cops

A man in Georgia has been arrested after he allegedly stabbed his parents, killing his father and severely injuring his mother, according to authorities.
Around 7:40 a.m. on Dec. 28, deputies responded to a home in Toccoa after receiving a report of an individual suffering stab wounds, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Responding officers located 63-year-old William Vaughn dead inside the home and 39-year-old Christopher Vaughn locked inside one of the rooms, officials said.
Deputies also found a second victim, identified as 62-year-old Janet Vaughn, inside a nearby residence with “substantial injuries.”
She was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Christopher Vaughn was taken into custody without incident, officials said.
According to WAGA-TV, he is the son of the stabbing victims, Janet and William Vaughn.

Christopher was booked into the Stephens County Jail and charged with one count of murder, and two counts of aggravated assault, police said.
Prior to the stabbing call, GBI said the sheriff’s office responded to the same house around 6 a.m. the same day in reference to a domestic incident.
