Two People Got Into An Argument At A Birthday Party Over A Man They Were Both Dating. It Ended With A Mom Dead.
During a birthday party, a mom of four children was stabbed to death.
Now, her killer will head to prison for the rest of her life.
Last month, a judge in Georgia sentenced Brandi Dixon to life in prison for killing Ebony Smith in July 2018, according to WGXA. Dixon was found guilty of felony murder after a three-day trial.
Smith was a mother of four when she died in Bibb County, Georgia.
The two were at a birthday party when they got into an argument that turned deadly, according to WGXA. On July 15, 2018, police were called the party and found Smith on the ground with a stab wound.
Smith had tried to defend herself by hitting Dixon in the face with a gun during the stabbing, according to WGXA.

The fight started over a disagreement over the man they were both dating, according to WMAZ. The victim was found outside of her car and Dixon had a wound to her face when police arrived.
Ynormon Whitehead told WMAZ he was at the party but left before the incident. He said everybody was having a good time when he left a bit before the attack.
“She had children, she had kids. They took that girl's life away, they took their mom — everybody needs a mom sometimes,” Whitehead told the TV station.
